Description
On a wooden stage decorated with a metal structure that provides steps for the performers to stand on, entertainers perform the finale "New York-A Salute to Duke Ellington" of the show Pzazz! 70 staged by Donn Arden at the Desert Inn Hotel, Las Vegas. Standing in the center front of the stage is a male performer dressed in a prison inspired black and white striped costume that shows off his midriff and has white straps for arm sleeves. Surrounding the man are other various male and females also striking poses for the crowd. The other males are dressed in prison inspired orange and black striped costumes, while the females are either sporting one-shouldered, sparkling orange dresses with matching orange feather headpieces, or a two-piece costume made out of mesh covered in sparkling orange beading and with matching orange feather headpieces.

Description
Topless showgirls in full costume pose, one at a time, in Lido costume and headdress. They gesture, sometimes moving their arms and costumes, while smiling or staring into the camera. They are wearing pink, red, green, orange, yellow, and blue feathered headpieces and boas. They all have jeweled bikini bottoms and necklaces. One segment shows footage of Paris scenes that was used in and to promote the show. Title cards with information about the show appear infront of neon signs. Another segment shows all the showgirls together, posing to show only their feathered costumes, before revealing a posed showgirl. The final clip includes show credits superimposed over the posing showgirls. There is no audio for any of these clips. Original media 35mm, color, aspect ratio 4 x 3, frame size 2048 x 1556. Description

Oral history interview with Stephen Round conducted by Claytee D. White on October 25, 2017 for the Remembering 1 October Oral History Project. In this interview, Stephen A. Round, a career military contractor, describes his experiences during the 2017 mass shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada. Round mentions moving to Las Vegas in 2013 and in later years staying at the Aria on the evening of October 1. He describes the chaos of the shooting and the 12-hour-plus lockdown at the Aria hotel and casino. The day after the shooting, Round built a memorial around the shooting site and protected it. Once the memorabilia of that first site was taken to the Clark County Museum, he moved to protect the second memorial at the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign where crosses devoted to the victims had been placed. Along with his preservation of the memorials, Round describes his preparation of a book that was signed by many who visited the sites. Round explains that he was able to see some of the best and worst of humanity during those days of watching and caring for the memorial sites as well as helping any victims, families of the victims, and sympathizers of the Las Vegas 2017 shooting.

A male dancer in a white pantsuit and a female dancer in a white bikini-style costume with a feathered headdress pose in front of painted wooden set piece in the Playboy Hotel. The Playboy hotel was originally named The Knickerbocker, and has gone through several incarnations since it opened in 1927. Legend has it that in the 1930s the hotel housed a casino frequented by Al Capone. During World War II and the Korean War, US Armed Forces officers would fill the property's hallways and play cards in the Officer's Club. In 1952, Richard Nixon was nominated Vice President during the Republican National Convention held in the hotel. Finally, in the 1970s it became the Playboy Hotel, owned by Hugh Hefner. After completing a multi-million dollar renovation in 2008, the hotel has reinvented itself once again.
