On March 10, 1981, Floyd Jenne (born June 6th, 1915 in Ogden, Utah) was interviewed by Ping Lee at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The interview covers Mr. Lee’s life as a police officer in Boulder City, Nevada. Mr. Lee also recalls going to school in McGill, Nevada and Ely, Nevada and working in Boulder City and Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Melvin Albert Weasa conducted by Al Weasa on October 01, 1971 for the Ralph Roske Oral history project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Weasa discusses living in Las Vegas, Nevada since the 1940s. He then describes recreational activities and recalls his different occupations while living in Las Vegas. Weasa also discusses his employment at Union Plaza Hotel (Plaza Hotel and Casino) as a pit boss. Later, Weasa describes the development of casinos and hotels on the Las Vegas Strip as well as Boulder Highway. Lastly, Weasa discusses the construction of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, churches, and rapid growth in population.

Burke talks about his schooling at St. Joseph’s Catholic School and Rancho High School. Burke also talks about the recreational activities he took part in during schooling, such as going to Lake Mead and joining a YMCA (Young Men’s Christian Association) camp. Burke then describes the Helldorado customs and his hobby of collecting gaming memorabilia.
