Oral history interview with Corey Nyman conducted by Claytee D. White on May 04, 2018 for the Remembering 1 October Oral History Project. In this interview, Nyman recalls his high school and college experiences, and working in Las Vegas, Nevada as a young adult. On October 1, 2017, Nyman attended the Route 91 Country Music Festival with his brother and a group of friends. They enjoyed the concert from the Red Bull VIP suite, which Nyman felt helped them escape bullets as he and his friends helped others escape. About three hours after escaping the venue, they arrived at Tropicana Avenue and Koval Lane where their ride picked them up. The driver was one of the last allowed into the area under the airport underpass. Nyman discusses his feelings since the shooting, and states that he loves the city and has made it his home despite the traumatic events of the night.

Folder of materials from the Mabel Hoggard Papers (MS-00565) -- Personal papers file. This folder contains correspondence addressed to David Hoggard and newspaper clippings about him, particularly in his role as Program Coordinator and Executive Director of Clark County Economic Opportunity Board, and also multiple letters from NAACP Special Contribution Fund West Coast Representative Tarea Hall Pittman. It also includes a name plaque: "J. David Hoggard Executive Director"; Hoggard's U.S. government motor vehicle operator's identification card; Hoggard's business cards for his roles as Advisory Board member for Clark County Community College and sales manager representing Milico; and a fraternity certificate initiating him as a member of Kappa Alpha Psi, May 1, 1954. Volume 6 Issue 2 (May 1981) of "The Rocket!", a newspaper "serving the more than 45,000 older citizens of Las Vegas & Clark County," and a special anniversary supplement from May 1981, are present in this folder but not digitized in their entirety.

Oral history interview with Emilia Marquez conducted by Maribel Estrada Calderón on July 5, 2019 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. Claytee D. White and Emily Lucile are also present during the interview. Emilia Marquez was born in the United Stated and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, where her father worked as a bricklayer, until the age of twelve, when her father decided to move the family back to Uruguay. She describes acclimating to her new life in middle school and her shift from being perceived as an outsider in Uruguay to accepting Uruguay as home. She describes life in Uruguay and the positions that her family held while living there. After meeting and marrying her husband they trained to work in a casino. She trained as a slot machine operator, and her husband trained as a dealer. This eventually led them to leave Uruguay for the U.S. After the encouragement of her father and mother, she moved with her mother to Las Vegas to work in the casino industry. She describes working as a change person at the Luxor before moving to the newly opened Palms, where she worked until she left it to work at the Wynn. She ends the interview talking about various Uruguayan dishes and traditions, and a brief history of Uruguay. Oral history interview with Robin Greenspun conducted by Barbara Tabach on February 09, 2017 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. In this interview, Greenspun discusses her family background and growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada. She talks about her early interest in the arts, working in television productions, and becoming a film director.
