Oral history interview with Traci Roberts conducted by Claytee D. White on November 14, 2005 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Roberts opens her interview by discussing her family's history in Las Vegas, Nevada starting in 1969. Roberts then explains running her franchise business, Dream Dinners, a family meal preparation company. She discusses how the business works, their customers, and the benefits of using the service. She then talks about her childhood in Las Vegas, growing up on the Westside, and how in the 1970s Las Vegas was still underdeveloped. Roberts then describes teenage life in Las Vegas during the 1980s, her education at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada (UNLV), her own family, and her two other companies. Roberts then explains why she became a vegetarian, how she defends Las Vegas to outsiders, and her friendships with other born and raised Las Vegas residents. She also discusses her time at UNLV in depth and her advice for other entrepreneurs.
Lastly, Roberts details how family life can thrive in Las Vegas and her thoughts on how to open a business.

Oral history interview with Lillian Morrison conducted by Dennis McBride on February 05 and 10, 1996 and July 29, 1996 for the Boulder City Library Oral History Project. Morrison opens her interview by discussing life in rural Iowa, her family, and their farm. She discusses how the farm operated in detail and what farming was like in the 1930s. Morrison describes moving to Boulder City, Nevada for employment opportunities. Morrison then describes the Six Companies, her husband's work there, and what living in Six Companies housing was like. Morrison then discusses working at Hoover Dam (Boulder Dam), race relations between African American and white workers, and discovering her own prejudices. She also talks about working for the National Park Service. Lastly, Morrison describes Boulder City, and important people living in the city.

Oral history interview with Christie Young conducted by Dennis McBride on October 18, 1998 for the Las Vegas Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Archives Oral History Project. In the interview, Young talks about her early life in Reno, Nevada and her experiences with race and sexuality during this time. She then describes attending University of Nevada, Reno in 1974, getting pregnant, having an abortion, and the social implications of abortions. Young recalls moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1979 to study anthropology at University of Nevada, Las Vegas, learning about gay culture, and attending the Metropolitan Community Church. She then explains joining gay rights organizations as a straight woman, gay rights activism in the 1980s and 1990s, and stories of individuals within the Las Vegas gay community.

Oral history interview with Robert Paluzzi conducted by Claytee D. White on September 05, 2006 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Paluzzi discusses his personal history and his experiences serving in the United States military in the 1940s. He talks about the Great Depression of 1929 and how that impacted his decision to join the military. Paluzzi then describes the state of the economy before and after joining the military, arriving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1949, and the development of the Las Vegas Strip. Later, Paluzzi shares his thoughts on organized crime and its possible connections with casino executives. He talks about the success and growth that Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino had, and his role as convention coordinator for Caesars Palace. Lastly, Paluzzi describes the growth and changes in Las Vegas and the impact that Jay Sarno had on casino development.

George discusses moving to Las Vegas and working as a waiter in the Copa Room at the Sands Hotel. He talks about working for Jack Entratter and Howard Hughes and describes the working conditions of his various positions in the Copa Room, including maître d. George also shares stories of different entertainers that would frequent the establishment.

Oral history interview with Frances R. Peterson conducted by Claytee D. White on October 24, 2025 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Peterson describes her childhood in St. Louis, Missouri and Davenport, Iowa. At the age of nineteen, she relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada where she worked at Sunrise Hospital from 1974 to 2008. She recalls watching the hospital expand from its initial single building, and helping implement the computer system at the hospital. Peterson also enjoys entertainment, and frequents the Smith Center for ballet and other performances. She describes how entertainment and the arts have expanded in the city, including the Arts District. Peterson currently spends time volunteering in the community, with organizations such as the Center for Spiritual Living, AARP, and the Nevada Cinemaniacs. Her goal for each year is to do twenty-five new things.
