Michael S. Mack Papers
The Michael S. Mack papers (approximately 1940s-1950s, undated) consist of photographs and documents related to the early Jewish community of Las Vegas, Nevada. Group photographs depict the Mack family and the Las Vegas Jewish community at events during the 1940s and 1950s, when the Las Vegas Jewish Community Center was the main Jewish organization in town. Individuals in the photographs were identified by Michael Mack. The collection includes documents written by Michael Mack that describe the early Las Vegas Jewish community and the history of his father and uncles, Louis, Nathan, and Harry Mack. The documents also list the names of Jewish individuals and businesses in Las Vegas.

Taylor, Richard B. (Richard Blackburn), 1929-2011
Richard "Dick" Blackburn Taylor was a prominent businessman in Las Vegas, Nevada and amateur historian of Southern Nevada. Taylor was born on January 31, 1929 in Quincy, Illinois and grew up in Glendale, California. After graduating high school in 1947, he attended Washington and Lee University, the University of Southern California, and the University of Hawaii. He served in the 4th Infantry Division of the United States Army in Germany during the occupation following WWII. In 1957, he married Charlene Flora Belknap and they had four children.

Images include scenes from the towns of Goodsprings, Goldfield, and Las Vegas, Nevada. The Goodsprings and Goldfield, Nevada images date to 1926; the Las Vegas images date to 1966.

Downtown Las Vegas Design Drawings
The Downtown Las Vegas Design Drawings (approximately 2011-2014) is comprised of seven design drawings created for select businesses located in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. The drawings are colored on tissue and were created by BUNNYFiSH studio, an architectural firm located in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. The collection includes three drawings for a porte-cochère at the D Las Vegas hotel; drawings for the exteriors of the Hydrant Club, Inspire, and HOP Downtown; and an interior drawing for Scullery.

The Charles Duncan (C.D.) Baker Papers (1951-1972) consist of clippings, correspondence, and political brochures related to the life and career of Las Vegas, Nevada Mayor Charles Duncan (C.D.) Baker. The collection also contains several scrapbooks of clippings and a mayoral plaque of appreciation from the City of Las Vegas.

The Bill Beam Papers document the career of miner and poetry enthusiast Bill (William) Beam from 1955 to 2004. The papers contain mining materials, photographs, and poetry from mines Beam worked in around the Southwestern United States. Also included are two albums of photographs from the Nevada Test Site.

Ned V. Bearden Sr. Collection
The Ned V. Bearden Sr. Collection (1958-1966) consists of the Rolodex for Desert York Inc., Bearden's air conditioning equipment business that operated in Las Vegas, Nevada beginning in 1946. The Rolodex contains customer names and addresses, along with installation dates and model numbers for the air conditioning equipment installed.
