Oral history interview with Dr. Harold Boyer conducted by Claytee D. White on November 15, 30, 2000 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Dr. Harold Boyer discusses going into a medical practice in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1952. He also discusses his activity in many community organizations.
Archival Collection
The George Lee Papers (approximately 1925-2024) consist of materials documenting the life of professional ballet dancer and blackjack dealer George Lee. The materials include photographic prints, show programs and advertisements, newspaper articles about Lee’s performances, scrapbooks, postcards, and correspondence. The photographs depict Lee’s family and childhood; dance rehearsals; travel; professional headshots, and promotional stills of various performances, including The Nutcracker and Flower Drum Song.
Also included in the collection are materials detailing the promotion and release of Jennifer Lin's 2024 film about George Lee titled Ten Times Better, including a photograph album, newspaper and magazine articles, and digital files of Lin’s interviews with Lee.

Laura Taylor was born in New Haven, Connecticut and spent her childhood bouncing between New York and Ohio to follow her father’s career. Robert Cox, her father, was a businessman who attended Syracuse University on the Government-Issued Bill. Her mother, Lillian Cox was a concert pianist and college music professor. At the age of seventeen, Taylor received a scholarship to attend the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati, Ohio under the tutelage of Dr. Robert Powell. Unfortunately, Dr.
