Bates: I have your letter of April 21, 1952, your file 569» again submitting $100 as the estimate of the cost of work performed by your office in connection with the Las Vegas Land and Water Company facilities at Las Vegas. In the previous case $100 of expense of your of­fice was charged entirely to the water distribution facility at Las Vegas. Certainly your office also performs work in connection with the water production facilities of the railroad at Las Vegas, and you should furnish me with an estimate broken down as between the two operations. Also it will be necessary for you to furnish me with an detailed statement of the various classes and amounts of work performed for each operation and an ex­planation of how you arrived at the amount of money* This is necessary in order that I may know in advance what you would testify to in a court case in justifi­cation of your estimate. .
