Notice we the undersigned do hereby locate and claim fifteen hundred feet for mining purposes on this ledge as mineral bearing Rock to be Known as the Tugh [not legible] mine commencing at this monument on which this notice is placed and Running 1500 ft fifteen hundred ft in a north of westerly Direction
On the course of the Ledge of mineral bearing Rock and including 300 ft on each side of the Ledge for mining purposes said mine is situated 1 ¼ mile westerly from alum springs and commencing at the north west end of the [not legible] City mine and claiming 1500 ft in a north of west direction on the course of the mineral Bearing Rock and marked on the surface [not legible] monument on the [not legible] and along the central line of the Ledge
