CJ&VK .-/1 Acknowledging receipt of your letter of February tie 30th in reference to capping of artesian well, and a® indeed glad that this mattdr w ill be attended to at onoe, as we at© s t ill receiving many complaints concerning the abundant waste of waters from this well. In this connection I would like to call your attention to the r&ct that it ie almost a year since we completed the construction of a temporary settling basin which was plippoaed to be used for o£Ly a short time or until w§ could construct the permanent basin and a 34® line to the second intake box. This, in «y opinion, should be attended to at the earliest possible moment and before the spring and summer months arrive, during which time there is always complaint concerning the quality of our domestic water system* I f I remember rightly the estimated cost of this work was to be included in the 1925 budget and the most logical time to do this work would be at the same ti»e we f i R j r l y / / are capping the well. ff.O.M-V T FEB 25 1925 Sff / x wrb/mc CO - C.
