    jHps.l. materials and labor for the construction of, and to construct, in the locations shown by yellow lines on Exhibit nA,B dated May 11, 1953, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, the following: (a) Approximately 730 LF of 6“ cast iron water mains. (b) Approximately 25 LF of 6” cast iron fire hydrant connection. The cost of constructing said water main (exclusive of the cost of constructing said 25 LF of cast iron fire hydrant connection) is agreed to be the sum of $2,440.00. 2* Said water mains shall be constructed of 6” Class 150 B & S cast iron pipe and shall be in accordance with Federal specifications WWP 421 Type 1, All joints shall be cement. All fittings shall be new, all bell cast iron, equal to ASA Standard Class 250. All valves shall be double disk, parallel seat bronze mountings conforming to AWWA standards, not less than 175 lbs., and all valve boxes shall be of cast iron of appropriate size for each valve. Unless otherwise approved by a duly authorized representative of the company, all pipe valves and fittings shall be manufactured by the Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Company or Mueller Company. All pipe lines shall be chlorhated in accordance with AWWA speci­fications, shall be subject to the approval and acceptance of State and City Health Authorities, and shall be constructed at an ele­vation to be designated by a duly authorized representative of the company, but in no event shall there be less than 36* of covering over such water mains. All workmanship, material and installation of said water mains shall be subject to the approval and acceptance by a duly authorized representative of the company, - 2- X-/m
