This well was drilled in 1920-1921 and we claim a Vested Sight to the water from same. Further, we have a !*6«fUfi©ate of Appropriation of Water*, application No. 7206, Certificate Record Ho* 1631, dated April 18, 1936. with priority of 8—23—1924, allowing us the right to appropriate 2*5 cubic feet per second, through a 12* drilled well 630 feet deep, located la the water field in m 1/4, gw 1/4, Sec. 29, Two. 20 South, Range 61 last. This water to be for general railroad, domestic, and fire protection purposes in parts of Sections 35 and 34. At the July 8, 1952 meeting of the committee, selected to consider this question of an independent water supply, they recommended that the above mentioned 2.0 cubic feet per second of water, be transferred from this so-called well Ho. 1 in the water field, to the shop well? also, that the Railroad should not relinquish any of its water rights. As this request for a work order will probably be authorised, you should determine from the State if this water right of 2,5 OFS can be transferred t© the location where you propose to drill the 16* well. If not, it will be necessary for you to file aa application with State for a Certificate of Appropriation of Water*
