MOORE, WILLIAM PECCOLE, REED Whipple, Commissioners, and GEORGE 0. Treem, City Manager, and HOWARD W. CANNON, City Attorney of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada. You and each of you will please take notice that pursuant to a call this day issued by Mayor Cragin, a Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, will be held in the Mayor's Office at the City Hall, 5th & Stewart, on the 16th day of August 1949 . at the hour of 3:45 P.M. to consider the following matters: 1. Gaming application of the Savoy Club. S/ Shirty Ballinger____________ City Clerk ACCEPTANCE OF NOTICE We, the undersigned, Mayor, Commissioners, City Manager and City Attorney of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, do hereby admit due service of the foregoing Notice of Special Meeting: S/ E. W. Cragin________________ S/ Reed Whipple S/ William Peccole______________ S/ Wendell Bunker_________________ Las Vegas, Nevada August 16, 1949 A Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held this 16th day of august, 1949, was called to the order by His Honor Mayor E. W. Cragin at the hour of 3:45 P.M. with the following members present: Commissioners Bunker, Peccole, Whipple; Acting City Manager George 0. Treem and City Clerk Shirley Ballinger. Absent: Commissioner Moore and City Attorney Howard W. Cannon. SAVOY CLUB - At this time His Honor read the application of Norman Khoury, Savoy Club, 114 Fremont,for Transfer of Gaming 4 slot machines, 1 "21" game, 1 Crap table, and 1 Race Horse Book licenses for the third License quarter of 1949. Thereafter Commissioner Whipple moved that Messrs. M. B. Hicks and Harry Badger by granted permission to transfer their gaming license to Mr. Norman Khoury, and that issuance of the foregoing gaming licenses to Mr. Khoury be conditioned on the report of the Police Department. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Moore.
