.'VZ-fH. , •' HI U r^-5' sr Farnsworth Well at Jean, Nevada. In conversation with Dave Farnswroth April 9, 1943, he advises his well at Jean was drilled about 1931, to a depth of 590 feet. The water has some magnesium, which used to affect the coffee, and had a mild laxative effect on human, however not severe. This is not flowing, but the Road contractor who built the road north of Jean a few years ago, installed some heavy pumping equipment and produced 30,000’gallons per day, with no appreciable draw-down. This is the only well in tie immediate vicinity. The Goodpprings area, 8 miles distant,-has its own well which is pumped. The water in the Farnsworth well stands at about 150 ft. Analysis of water from this source was made by Percy Nash a number of years ago, but is not now availabe: AMF 4-9-43
