February 3, 1953 The enclosed proposal Is identical with that which has already been considered by Mr. Stoddard's office and - other interested departments in Omaha with the exception of minor changes in wording. Exhibit "A" attached to the enclosed proposal is identical with the agreement already approved in Omaha with the exception of additional provisions in Section 1 permitting the Union Pacific to remove the pipe lines and wire lines therein referred to at the cost of the District in the event the District fails to remove such facilities within tjia time prescribed in Section 1. \ I am also enclosing original and three copies of letter of acceptance to be signed by Mr. Stoddard, which is identical in form with that already approved by the various departments in Omaha except that it contains an added provision calling the District's attention to the fact that the 507 acres of land will be conveyed to the District subject to the current year’s taxes assessed in the year when the sale date occurs and subject, of course, to proration as of the sale date.
