E. Bennett, General Solicitor of the Union Pacific Railroad Company, acting for the Las Vegas Lend nnd Water Company. in view of the statements as set forth in M r. Bennett's letter indicating that the "water situation w ill be very tight" until new wells are brought on production and turned into the company's distributing system, the Distiict adopted a formal resolution at a meeting held yesterday afternoon respectfully requesting the Board of C ity Commissioners to put into effect as of May 1, the water rationing program that was in effect last year.
