At this time the crops, alfalfa and peas, are all up and grain and potatoes planted. Mrs. Culmsee has taken a deep interest and has planted sweet peas along the right of way and proposes to make a *showw place. The well has been dug to a depth of 33 feet and water encountered here. It will be necessary now to install the pump at this point and also dig the well still deeper. The outlook for success on this farm is most encouraging and it is to be hoped that the interest of those who are concerned in the management and direction of this small experiment tract can be retained so that the results will be of value ip the development and reclamation of that section. Respectfully submitted, (signed) Lewis A. Merrill, Agr.Expert. C.G* Mr.J.H.Manderfield. Mr.Douglas White. Mr. J. A. li dt so e.
