RESOLVED that an ad valorem tax of $.065 on each hundred dollars worth of taxable property situate, lying and being within the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, be levied, collected and paid for the year 1928, including the net proceeds of the mines for the year 1928, said tax to be known as and used as the Street Paving Redemption Bond. The vote on said Resolution was as follows: Commissioners Mundy, Smith, and His Honor the Mayor, J. F. Hess, Aye. Noes, none. No further business appearing it was ordered on motion duly made, seconded and carried that this Board adjourn. OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA. April 5, 1928. At a regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, held on the 5th day of April, 1928, at the hour of three o'clock P. M. Present: His Honor, the Mayor, J. F. Hesse: Commissioners O. J. Smith, W. B. Mundy, W. C. German and Roy Neagle, together with the City Attorney and Clerk. Meeting called to order by the Mayor. All claims allowed as shown by the Claims and Warrants Register on file in the office of the Clerk. City Officers reports read, approved and ordered filed in the office of the Clerk. Minutes of previous meetings read and approved. Upon motion by Commissioner Mundy, seconded by Commissioner Smith and duly carried it was ordered that the claim of Ed W. Clark in the amount of $71.87 for repairs to sewer damaged by backing up of City Sewer be allowed. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried it was ordered that this meeting adjourn until the 6th day of April, 1928, at the hour of three o'clock P. M.
