Las Vegas - March 11, 1939 Mr. J. P. Mack: Inspection of the old wooden pipeline between the shop yards fence and the Tonopah highway this morning develops between 50 and 75 good sized leaks, from which we are losing a large amount of water. I think it is very important that this pipeline be placed in condition immediately, before the heavy drain of water commences in the summer months. I would suggest that a gang be placed on this job for four or five days to properly band up the pipeline and stop the leaks, as this cannot be properly handled by one or two men in their spare time.
