Bates - Los Angeles: Please refer to your letter of May 25, 1955-» pt which 3703.1 you raise the question as to how the Railroad Companies will be compensated for temporary continuance of power lines and pipe lines on railroad property at Las Vegas, Nevada after sale o£ the water facilities to the Las Vegas Valley Water District, as pro­vided in paragraph N of Section 1, and also covered in Section 5 of the Agreement dated June 1, 1953 between the Railroad Companies, the Water Company and the Water District* tion of the pipe lines and power lines, it is reasonable to assume that they would remain in their present location on an average for the period of two years.
