I hand you herewith Clark County tax hill #795 covering lots in Las Yegas City, and original of my letter of Oct.28 to Mr.Ullom. You will note from the first paragraph of my letter that I was un­able to check the total assessed valuation of land and improvements from the statement as furnished and Mr.Ullom has now shown in red, under "Imps." four amounts which total $1,655 hut has shown no amounts under "Real". The amount $1,655 added to the total of "Real” of "Imps" columns does not equal in either case the total of $22,415 or $59,565 shown on the hill nor does the grand total equal the total valuation of $81,978 appearing on the hill. You will also note from the enclosed letter that I requested tax hill covering portion of Block B,Buck's Addition, which is that portion of Block nB" adjacent to Lots 29 and 50, Block 1 , Hawkins Addition and Mr.Ullom has made notation stating that "Hawkins and Bucks are assessed together. This manner of handling is not at all satisfactory as it does not indicate the exact property on which we are paying taxes and makes it impossible for us to prove that we have in fact paid the taxes, should it become necessary to prove the fact. I shall appreciate it very much if you will take these matters up with Mr.Ullom and Mr.Hawkins at your early con­venience and have the hill confected and returned to me promptly in order that our work may n Agent BHC:S
