PROGRESS REPORT SANDS-MALIBU OUTRIGGER HOLIDAY Thirty-five to forty persons are expected for the Sands - Malibu Outrigger Holiday to be held Saturday and Sunday, October 29th and 30th at Lake Mead. The actual race will be held Sunday with a practice session set for Saturday. Following the practice, a cocktail party will be held at the Sands in a suite being used by the president of the yacht club. Following the party, the group will attend the dinner show. The party, as last year, will be compliments of the hotel. They will pay for the Copa show, Sunday, the group will hold the race and probably meet back at the Sands for dinner followed by the trophy presentation. About half will stay over until Monday, with the other persons driving back to Southern California. # # # ron erickson
