1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 1 3 1 4 1 5 1 6 1 7 1 8 19i 20 21 22 2 3 241 2 5 2 6 2 7 2 8 2 9 3 0 3 1 3 2 BARBER-BRIDGE DRILLING CORPORATION, LTD Well Contractors Stanley 7-2-202 Burbank, California 3020 Empire Avenue This Agreement, made and entered into this day of October, 1948, by and between Las Vegas Land and Water Company, hereinafter called the Owner, and Barber-Bridge Drilling Corporation, Ltd., of Burbank, California hereinafter called the Contractor, WITNESSETH: The Owher hereby engages and employs the Contractor to drill a sixteen Inch well on that certain land owned by or under the control of the Owner and situate in the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and more particularly described as follows: That said well shall be drilled to a depth not to exceed 800 feet; when, well has been drilled to a depth of 300 feet then the Owner may at any time before its completion stop further v/ork thereon by notice in writing to the Contractor, The diameter of casing to be used shall be sixteen inch and this, size shall be sunk to as great a depth as possible. During the course of drilling said well should it be impracticable to continue with this size, the Contractor may proceed with the work of drilling using the next size casing most practical to be used. The Contractor further agrees, to drill a twenty inch hole to an approximate depth of fifty feet and install 20w- 3/16" wall conductor pipe. Contractor to install 16” casing in conductor pipe and continue drilling well to a minimum depth of 300 feet and a maximum depth of 800 feet. -1-
