Add Water Services- •Extended Mains On Fourteenth Extension of mains of Las Ve­gas Land and Water company, to serve two more blocks on North Fourteenth street, was started Wednesday, according to A1 Fol- ger, manager of the utility office. The homes benefited are largely Manganese Ore houses purchased by veterans and located in that neighborhood. Folger admitted that consider­able difficulty has been experi­enced by his firm as well as in­dividual home owners in obtain­ing' galvanized pipe for water connections. It is worse now than it ever was during the war, he said, explaining the inability of the water company to give some of the service requested in isolated areas.’ Pipe wholesalers, he said, offer deliveries at future dates varying from three months to next Christmas. • .
