V • Hiatt General Maaasrar* Dear Sir: I have your joint favor of Juno 14th in the matter of water supply pipe line at Lag Vegas, and enclosing bids covering concrete pipe line, also machine banded redwood pipe; and note that the concrete pip© people now give guarantee of five years, and that a concroto pipe line would cost about $11,000 less than the wooden pipe# only about f§§ on the cost of renewing the pipe line, and I agree with you that so long as the repairs are so nominal the work can that when the repair expenses increase to such a point as to reach 5 or 6% on the cost of new line that we renew the line with 18” concrete pipe under five years guarantee.
