Hovember £2,1904 60-A Mr.H.I.Bettis, Auditor. Dear Sirs- I teg to acknowledge receipt of your valued favor of the 18th, which refers to las Vegas Ranch, which is supplementary to your letter of the 18th, which 1 have noted carefully and note that from the amount of stock on hand, and amount of sales that have "been made, it would appear that everything is in fairly good shape. Also note you say if the store is not to he closed out at once, that you would suggest that a system of accounts he put in siml lar to those in the retail department stores and that Ur.Bracken and his brother he bonded for an amount equivalent to the total value of the stock on Sfovember l$t. In case We do Continue the business for some time, I do not think it would he necessary to bond them for the full amount of the stock, as, if they were so disposed, it would-be impossible for them to get away with the whole stock, but they should be put under a reasonable bond. However, I think that we should, Very truly yours, (Signed) X liOSS CLdSK,
