From the Nye County, Nevada Photograph Collection (PH-00221) -- Series V. Smoky Valley, Nevada and Round Mountain, Nevada -- Subseries V.C. Lofthouse-Berg Families (Round Mountain). Karl "Skook" Berg is pictured holding pipe. Looking up Main Street toward Mount Jefferson the Berg Mercantile is visible on the right. The Berg Mercantile sits where the firehouse currently (1990) site.
