Bear Sir; I enclose herewith a hill from the Ed. f, Clark Forwarding Company, together with your hill in favor of lir.B*J.Cox, and, also, ^Voucher in favor oi. iir*B. J.Cox for hauling 7765 pounds of freight from Calientes, Nevada, to the ranch. This appears to me to he a very exhorhitant charge, which figures out at the rate oi ?„40.00 per ton for hauling this freight. I wish you would kindly advise me, with return of papers, if you fcgd anj contract for hauling this freight and if arrangements could not he made for a much cheaper rate.
