GAZETTE APR 21 1954 Renof Nevada LAS VlfGAS (Special) — The | city water rationing program in* effect last year has been urged for i 1854 by E. E. Bennett, general so- | licitor for ,the Union Pacific Railroad, Tom Campbell, president of the Lias Vegas Valley Water Dis-trict, disclosed. Campbell at the same time announced that the water company I has proposed immediate develop-rnent of additional production facilities to implement the supply of local water. The water company proposal is based around a plan submitted by J. M. Montgomery, Las Vegas Valley Water District engineer, who suggested that two additional water wells be drilled immediately as the solution to eliminate a drastic wafer shortage in the area this Summer. /•- Montgomery also said that by equipping the water company’s existing well ’No. 11 with a deep-well turbine additional wafer would be made available. MESSAGE.
