Springs are enclosed by a cement m i l and covered with lumber. One w all of Spring Ho* 2 broken down. Spring Ho* 3 protected by barbed wire fence from horses and cattle. Water is conveyed to Las Vegas through a 16 inch main made o f red wood except a portion which conveys water through the Union P acific yards a distance of 1072 feet which is o f stee l* Pressure is 35 lb s . Cement enclosures o f one spring {Ho *2} broken permit ting contamination. You w ill note in the enclosed that w ell no. 2 has been reported in the same condition as la s t year* There i s nothing to If ad one to believe that the water of th is spring (Bo*2} is in any better condition than la s t year; while Bo. 3 has had a barbed wire fence placed around it . keeping i t fre e from livestock invasion.
