Mr*. A. E. Cahlan 2 . A p ril 1 4 , 19 5 3 officials, both locally and in the east, and I know that proposals which are being considered by the District rauat be reviewed by the Board, the attorneys and the engineers for tne District. At various titles while the transaction has been progressed, one Side or the other has had to wait while the other considered a proposal or a counter-proposal which had been submitted. I think that each side has acted as expeditiously aa possible under the circumstances throughout the entire negotiations. As-I to 1-4 you- cn- the telephone the other day, Mr. Hen-wick on March 19, 1353# submitted a draft of a final agreement to the District and Its attorneys. At the same time the draft was circulated among interested Railroad officials who had not previously seen the agreement. It is expected that all parties will have completed their consideration of this draft soon and that the agreement will be placed in final form at an early date. Very truly yours, E. E, Bennett cc - Mr. Thomas A. Campbell, President. Das Vegas Valley Water District P. 0. Box 1448 Las Vegas, Nevada Mr. Franklin T.
