The Silver Slipper is currently featuring Romero's music in the new "Kinsky's Follies,'66". Romero is presently a member of the Vaughn Monroe orchestra at the Hotel Tropicana. Miss Bunny Phillips, vocalist with Romero's orchestra, has been living in Las Vegas several years. She first appeared in Las Vegas with the singing group "The Signatures" and has recorded for tl rner Brothers label. She has made several European tours with the xDrofessional Entertainers' Branch of the U.S. Government. Miss Phillips has received several recording offers from Columbia, Capitol and Liberty record companies and is currently setting up a tour of the Playboy clubs throughout^ the country. The Rick Davis enseible will play a special 15-minute program featuring the Avant-Gardes. This music is part of a "freedom" movement in jazz music, and plays an important part in the "Wide Wild World of Jazz". Down Beat magazine, world-wide jazz magazine is sending its 3t Coast representative, Mr. Harvey Aiders of the American Broadcasting Company, to review this important jazz concert.
