Dear Sir We can quote; you the following prices on approximately 9200 feet of our reinforced concrete pipe laid at Las Vegas, Nevada* For pipe made and laid at Las Vegas, £1.90 per lineal foot, ex­clusive of earth work hut including connection at the spring and special 10 inch tee opening at lower end of the linjl. For the pipe made in Los ingeles and transported,free of cost to usjby your Company from Los Ange­les to Las Vegas, §1.35 per foot, laid excfusive of earth work hut in­cluding special work above mentioned. $ The freight on this pipe, at £6.40Joer ton, which was the rate quot­ed us hy Mr. Sloan would be approximatelJp 45^ per lineal foot making the total price, including the freight for lie pipe made in Los Angeles, §1.80 per foot. As this pipe would have €!o*be~v§J®' carefully made with selected ma­terials, we believe it would be much be\ter to make it here than to try to construct it at Las Vegas as we can not only secure the proper materials here but we can give the pipe much closer inspection and it can be made under more favorable conditions in every way. /e will guarantee the pipe for a period of five years from the date of completion and will immediately repair or replace any defects, should any appear within that time which might be due to defective materials or workmanship or the action of any substances contained in the soil.
