Pear Sir: For your information, I enclose herewith copy of tlie following reports from Las Vegas Ranch, for the month of May, 1904: Cash Statement, Balance Sheet, Account Current with Los Angeles office. From the first you will notice that there was cash on hand May 1st, §200., receipts from the store, hotel and from beef, fruit and hay sold $441,67, of which $206.66 was remitted to Los Angeles, leaving a balance of $200. on hand after making cash pay­ments for certain supplies for the hotel and store and a portion of the wages. including that which was paid by cash, amounted to $550.65, the supplies purchased amounted to $388.16, while the receipts amounted to $441.67, or $108.98 less than the total pay roll.
