Well Mammy you will have a kick coming again this time. It has been four days now since I wrote. I was waiting for your letter though. I change back to Graveyard shift tonight. Go to work at 11 at night and get off at 7 in the morning. I will not work tomorrow night for I intend to take my birthday off even if I am hard up. Myrta is going to give me a birthday dinner. I have been over at the Florence mill today looking after that job. It is not sure by a long shot but I think I will get it. You seem to think by the wa way you write in this letter that I am out of Baby. Well I guess I forgot to tell youthe last time I got in. I got in at 9 1/2 cents a share and the stock has been selling around 5 and 6. I think I will be able to get out this week all right at a profit. Oh I never will learn so it is no use to tell me. I would have liked to seen Billee that day he was dressed up. Say I meant those Calanders for the house at home. Not for K & J so don't you leave them there if dady did not bring them home, Youmake Bady bring them home. Say before I forgetit I must tellyou about going to see the Ball Game here today. The Boston Bloomer Girls played. It is a team of girls from Boston that travel around over the country in thier own car. They have some pretty fair players but of course they always draw a big crowd just because they are girls playing ball. Mammy I think it would be best for me to come home for a while and then come back here this winter if I can get a job. You know there is no job there at home for me and I am getting old enough that I feel like I ought to be getting settled on to some job that I can stay with a while. If Baby does well I may tear out of here for a while. Now I have ehough to take me out even if I do lose all that I have in. Now wheneverI wrote you I was feeling well I certainly was, I have a little cold now but it is getting better. I am feeling good otherwise and soare all the rest here. Hope you are all O.K. Will write you Tuesday and let you know all about the Glourious 7th. Earle
