Lear Sir: I am enclosing herewith copy of a letter from Mr. Bracken, the lessee of the Las Vegas Ranch, to C .0.Whittemore, President of the Las Vegas Land & Water Company, relative to a claim made by Mrs,Helen J.Stewart that she was not getting the amount of water on her land which she should according to the contract. I also enclose copy of a letter I have to-day writ­ten Mr. Whitt emore on the same subject, and an extract from the contract referred to. I am sending this to you for your information so that if any trouble should occur over the claims made by Mrs. Stewart you may be advised. Yours truly, Auditor.
