All joints shall he cement; all fittings shall he new, all hell cast iron equal to ASA Standard Class 250# All valves shall he double disk, parallel seat bronze mountings conforming to AWWA standards, not less than 17jJ lbs#, and all valve boxes shall be of cast iron of appropriate size for each valve# Unless otherwise approved by a duly authorized repre­sentative of the Company, all pipe valves and fittings shall be manufactured by the Pacific States Cast iron Pipe Company or Mueller Company. All pipe lines shall be chlorinated in accordance with AWWA specifications, shall be subject to the approval and acceptance of State and City Health Authorities, and shall be constructed at an elevation to be designated by a duly authorized representative of the Company, but in no event shall there be less than 36n of covering over such Water mains. All workmanship, material and installation of said water mains shall be subject to the approval and acceptance by a duly authorized representative of the Company#
