Present Mayor Hesse, Commissioners Thomas and Smith together with the City Clerk. Absent Commissioners Hansell and German and City Attorney Stevens. Due to the absence of Commissioner German, Finance Commissioner Mayor Hesse appointed Commissioner Thomas to act as Finance Commissioner and approve balance of claims against the City for the month of February. Moneys received for the month of February as follows; $878.90 City Licenses, fees, and sale of cemetery lots. 805.00 Municipal Court Fines. 1,683.90 Total. Moneys proportioned as follows: $1,000.00 Police and Fire Fund 145.00 Cemetery Fund 65.50 Water, Sewer and Light Fund. 473.40 General Fund. 1,683.90 On motion of Commissioner Thomas seconded by Commissioner Smith it was moved that Cliff Whitmore be hired as a janitor for the Clerk's Office and Commissioners Room at $20.00 per month. Said amount to be paid out of the General Fund. Vote on said motion was as follows: Commissioners Thomas and Smith and His Honor the Mayor voting Aye. Noes none. No further business appearing before the Board at this time the meeting recessed until Tuesday the 10th day of March 1931 at the hour of three o'clock P.M. OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK, CITY OF LAS VEGAS CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA. MARCH 10th 1931. At a recessed regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, held on the 10th day of March at the hour of three o'clock P.M. Present Mayor Hesse, Commissioners Thomas and Hansell and City Clerk. Absent Commissioners Smith and German and City Attorney Stevens. No business appearing before the Board at this time the meeting recessed until Wednesday the 11th day of March 1931 at the hour of three o'clock P.M. OFFICE OF TEE CITY CLERK, CITY OF LAS VEGAS CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA. MARCH 11th, 1931. At a recessed regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas held on the 11th day of March 1931 at the hour of three o'clock P.M. Present Mayor Hesse, Commissioners German and Thomas and City Clerk. Absent Commissioners Smith and Hansell and City Attorney Stevens. No business appearing before the Board at this time the meeting recessed until Thursday the 12th day of March at the hour of three o'clock P.M.
