Lob Angeles, August 4, 1938 1-7334 Mr. H. H. Larson: Referring to your mailgrara A-667 o.f March 17th, enclosing statement of statistics in connection with water production at Las Vegas: Mr. Bracken calls attention to the apparent discrepancy in amount of water obtained from the open spring running into the creek. He advises that the maximum production of which we have record was during 1935, at which time weir measurement indicated production of 285 O.P.M., or 149,796,000 gallons per year, and that in June, 1936, the flow had decreased to 246 6.P.M., whereas your report estimated the 1937 production at 521,856,610 gallons. In view of the apparent discrepancy, it will be appreciated if you will have measurement taken of water produced from the open spring. Frank Strong kifcs<Mjswt j » s i s I CC - Mr. W.
