M Full Probe of Vegas Water Wastage Slated Here * " A thorough survey of water wastage in Las Vegas will get under way the week of November 28 it was agreed today by Officials of the Las Vegas water district, the Las Vegas Land and Water company and Mayor E. W. Cragin. The survey, to be conducted by an engineer of the water and a city employe, will be two-fold in design, first toj determine the present amount of wastage and second to educate and solicit the cooperation of offending parties. Heaviest concentration will be made in the business district with checks of refrigeration units to learn if the water is used is being recaptured and not allowed to flow away into sew-age lines. Private homes, however; will also be c h e c k e d for leaky plumbing facilities and 1 improper cooling units'which permit wastage.
