L-ah Wholesale Grocers and the Las Vegas Distributing Company warehouses at 510 South Main street seemed inevitable this evening at 7=30 o’clock when this paper went to press. The fire, which reached the proportions of a roaring in-' ferno, was first noticed at 7:15 : o’clock. The central city siren,s used only to call volunteers,: was rung as the size of the fire was noted. Trucks from i the central, sub, and North Las; Vegas departments responded as did hundreds of volunteers | who crowded to the scene of I the holocaust.
