Fits. 1 0 5 9 * 1 of July <M u V THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into as of the 12th day ____ f 1951, by and between LAS VEGAS LAUD AND WATER COMPANY, hereinafter called the "UTILITY", and BOUSING AUTHOBITY OP THE CITY OP LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, a public body corporate and politic created by the -Bousing Authorities Law of the State of Nevada, hereinafter called the "AUTHORITY", WITNESSETH: R E C I T A L S WHEREAS, the Utility is engaged in the business of supplying water to customers in the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, and WHEREAS, the Authority, as authorized by the Housing Authori­ties Law, is planning the construction of and will construct and rent cer­tain low-rent dwellings to relieve the serious lack of safe and sanitary dwelling accomodations for families of low-income, said low—rent dwellings to be erected on a tract of land in the City of Las Vegas containing ap­proximately fifteen (15) acres located west of "H" Street and south of Washington Avenue; and WHEREAS, the Authority has requested the Utility to extend its water mains in location as indicated by red lines on the map hereto attached, marked "Exhibit A" and by this reference made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, the Utility is willing to make said extensions in accordance with its Rule 9A on file with the Public Service Commission of the State of Nevada, approved January l6, 19k0; and WHEREAS, the Authority has further requested the Utility to construct nine (9) fire hydrant connections in location as indicated by H u ® ^ said Exhibit A", and to install thereon nine (9) fire hydrants - 1 -
