M Manhole. On our initial inspect!on, we found the oondition at the garbage disposal platform unsightly and insanitary. !<r. Taylor stated the Union Pacific Railroad Company was required, by agreement in disposal contract, to provide hot water for the garbage collector to keep the disposal cans and loading platform olean. There was every evidence of an ample supply of hot water available, but evidently the use of this service was neglected. This matter was taken up with the garbage collector who promised a correction of conditions. On our recheck visit, we found the sanitary conditions greatly improved, but the cover had been removed from one floor drain and the strainer basket removed from the other floor drain, leaving each drain wido ooen to the sewer line for the reception of garbage material. s/ A. <J, Schenks 1__ A.
