In that case, the C a lifo r n ia Water & Telephone Company f i l e d an a p p lic a t io n with the C a lifo r n ia Comm ission re q u e stin g an amendment to an e x is t in g r u le (R ule No. 2 ), the amendment to read a s fo llo w s : aNo a p p lic a tio n f o r the extension o f se rv ic e w i l l be granted, nor se rv ic e rendered to, any su b d iv isio n not re c e iv in g service on A p r il 10, 1951, u n less i t i s a su bd ivisio n o f lan d which re ce iv e d i r r i g a t i o n service fo r 12 consecutive months, o r f o r a normal annual i r r ig a t io n season f o r the crop ir r ig a t e d , d urin g the 24 months p recedin g the date o f the a p p lic a tio n , in an amount a t le a s t s u b s ta n tia lly equal to th at which w i l l be re q u ire d in the aggregate by sa id su b d iv isio n , an n ually, upon the completion o f i t s development, Nothing contained in t h is paragraph s h a ll be deemed to prevent the company from complying with any extension o r su b d iv isio n agreement entered in to by the Company p r io r to A p r il 10, 1951.
