From the Thomas J. Hickey Photograph Collection (PH-00252) -- Depicted in the photograph is the interior of a locomotive that ran between Sparks and Carlin, Nevada. Handwritten on photo sleeve, "Interior of the cab of a locomotive which ran between Sparks and Carlin, Nevada. (1989) Engineer sent this photo to Sen. [Senator] Hickey to protest the working conditions of the railroad employees."
