Unless 3 otherwise approved by a duly authorized representative of the Gom- 4 pany, all pipes, valves and fittings shall be manufactured by 5 Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Company or Mueller Company. All pipe 6 lines shall be chlorinated in accordance with AWWA specifications, 7 shall be subject to the approval and acceptance of State and City 8 Health Authorities, and shall be constructed at an elevation to 9 be designated by a duly authorized representative of the Company, 10 but in no event shall there be less than 36w of covering over such 11 water mains. All workmanship, material and the installation of said 12 water mains shall be subject to the approval and acceptance by a 13 authorized representative of the Company. 14 3. At 0wner*s sole cost and expense to survey and ac- 15 curately stake upon the ground the line along which said water 16 mains are to be laid, and to indicate street and alley grades by 17 appropriate stakes. 8 4. To furnish the Company easements, satisfactory in 19 form, where pipe lines are to be laid in other than dedicated street!I 20 and alleys, said easements to be five (5) feet on each side of the 21 center line of said pipe lines. 22 5. To furnish a Bill of Sale for said water mains, 23 conveying to the Company all right, title and interest in the 24 25 said water mains, free and clear of all liens and encumbrances. 26 - 3 - A-//°
