% Loa Angeles, January 31, 1951 7334 Mr* C. A. Keeble (oo - Mr. Geo. D. Jopllng) Referring to our Requialtlon 64-9 and G.E. Purchase Order 39-SD-113-X, for 3 pumping Square *0" pumping plant panels for Laa Vegas. G, E. panels were substituted for above on basis of a slightly cheaper priee and immediate delivery. Am now advised by Mr. Mathews that shipment pa« eis cannot be made before March 1st. Square Company now advises that Immediate shipment can be made on panel for the 25 H*P. motor and the other 2 panels can be shipped by the 2nd or 3rd week In February. In view of the urgenoy in this matter, and the faot that we will have to construct a frame to support the G, E, panel, whereas the Square *X>* panel will not require a supporting frame which would more than offset the saving to be affeoted by the purchase of G. E. panel, will you please cancel the 9. E, purchase order and Issue the order to Square Company for all three panels as quiokly as possible. 26
