REFERENCE TO THE ABOVE FILE NUMBER IN YOUR REPLY WILL BE APPRECIATED Mr. John Ryan, Gen. Mgr, Tonopah & Tidewater Co., Ludlow, Cal. Dear Sir: I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of Aug. 16th, your file 143, and enclose herewith a blank application, which after signing, should be forwarded to Mr. W. F. Allen, Secy. & Treas., Bureau of Explosives, 24 Park Place, New York. The cost of membership is based upon the Gross Earnings at the rate of $l.70 per $100,000.00, and 18 cents per mileage, and an additional charge of $6.00 per magazine from which shipments are forwarded by rail, is made. If shipments are forwarded by more than one line, the $6.00 charge is pro-rated. Assessments are made semi-annually.
