' ^MPBELL r e a l t y CO Hay 7 8 uu AH 53 x,os Angeles - May 5* 1953 8 0 - 1 1 Mr. William Reinhardt* (ec - MMrr.. TL.o mR .C aMmapbaegl l) 1// In connection with proposed meeting in Las Vegas, Tuesday, May 12th, with representatives of the Las Vegas Valley Water District, I discussed the matter with Mr. Campbell, and we agreed that the meeting would be held commencing 9*00 A.M., Tuesday, May 12th, in the large office in the Union Pacific Station at Las Vegas. Mr. Campbell will notify Messrs. Hamilton and Montgomery, and I am notifying Mr. Maag with a copy of this letter. You may desire to give consideration to having Mr. Adamson present, and if you do so desire, I presume you will notify him of the time and place of the meeting. Mr. Renwick and I will be present. Mr. Campbell advises me that Messrs. Hamilton and Montgomery are arriving the day before to go over some matters, and I suggest that, if possible, after discussing the situation with them, that Mr. Campbell have an agenda prepared, listing the matters to be discussed, which I think will facilitate the proceedings. Mr. Campbell asked me what my reaction was to the presence of the Press at the meeting, and I told him I was very much opposed to having any reporters present, and feel that you would be likewise opposed. He stated that since the District was a public body, if the reporters were excluded the Union Pacific would have to take the blame for such exclusion, and I told him that was alright with me. S. E. Bennett
