Jurden I transmit herewith copy of a letter dated December 22, 1954, which I have received from Mr. Edmund Muth, Assistant State Engineer, con­cerning the above entitled permit, as well as our Application No. 15754 for permission to trans­fer 1,4 c.f.s. of water from the location des­cribed in Permit No. 15140 to a new point of diversion where a new well will be drilled. There still seems to be some confusion in Carson City as to the status of this matter, and I therefore think we should welcome the suggestion that we contact Mr. Francis Thorne so that he can make a report to Carson City. If you agree, I will be pleased to meet with our engineer and Mr. Thorne whenever a meeting can be arranged, and I suggest that our engineer advise me vhen he may be in Las Vegas so- that arrangements can be made.
