Shamberger, Assist­ant State Engineer, with respect to some tests that Mr. George Maxey of the U. S. Geological Department wishes to make Jointly with the State Engineer on some of the Railroad Company's wells in the Las Vegas water field. Copy of Mr. Shamberger‘s letter is attached. We should by all means cooperate in this matter, and I will appreciate if you will Instruct Supervisor B&B Hall to contact Mr. Bracken and determine the dates that the publio authorities wish to make the tests and arrange for full co­operation. .
